# Treasury

The Treasury plays a very important role in the 1 Million DAO project. It provides three crucial functions for the growth and sustainability of $OMD.\

The treasury functions as an additional financial support for the ALE, which can be important in the event of an extreme price drop of the $OMD token. \
\
It helps to create a floor value for the $OMD token. \
The treasury is also used to fund new 1 Million DAO products, services, and projects, which will expand and build up the 1 Million DAO use cases and project economy. Additionally, the treasury provides funding for 1 Million DAO marketing. \
